my favorite month

... IS COMING!!!

i am SOO excited... my favorite month of the year is only FOURRRRRRR days away!!! actually, i can't believe it's already here... this year has flown by. it seems like just yesterday that it was May... i didn't even have to wait for it to come this year! but hey, i'm not complaining at all... if every month could be May, i'd be perfectly fine with it. :D

and this year, it's going to be super awesome. even though it'll be probably the busiest May in my history [usually it's pretty chill-- school is winding down (back in grade school) or over (in college)], i think that's why i'm extraordinarily excited for it. every weekend, there is something awesome to look forward to. new experiences, new friends, new life stages :)

only a few of the specific dates i can NOT wait for:
1) focus impact retreat
2) susan ahn + john lee's wedding
3) my birthday... which is on the same day as their wedding! :D
4) jason's birthday
5) the annual family vacation up north... and potentially seeing EMILY?! (hallosss... are you coming back for this? i miss youuuu!)

and the minor changes in my life i'm looking forward to:
1) sprucing up my GARDEN! this year, i'll be growing tomatoes, strawberries, basil, rosemary, green onions, parsley, and of course, flowers on my apt balcony
2) starting my new hobby (as posted previously)
3) transitioning into working part-time at my current job (finally... hallelujah!)


... oh, and how can you forget... the summer season at the ann arbor's market begins in may too!!!! that means, not just saturdays, but also on WEDNESDAYS! and this year, they're testing out the new concept of the wednesday NIGHT MARKET! wahhhhooo i'm so excited i might pee my pants waiting...
